Since 2002 the UMA (United Muslims of Australia)  have been working in the community to establish and provide an Islamic alternative for the youth and to continue working with the broader community.’

At the same time, our goal is to also educate and inform people about Islam, and removing the disastrous misconceptions that have been spread about Islam. Islam teaches us that there is no compulsion in religion, yet it is our duty to inform people about the beauty and perfection of Islam.

Therefore over the years, the UMA has been involved in many humanitarian projects and we have recently decided to form a subgroup UMA Outreach, to focus purely on any humanitarian work to bring humanity closer together, by engaging in local and global relief projects while using the Islamic ethics to deliver the services.
